These Terms and Conditions govern all studio bookings, membership subscriptions, and use of services provided by SG Studios at the above address. By booking a tour, booking a session or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms in full. The most current version of these terms is always available at https://sgstudios.ie/terms-conditions


1. Definitions

Studio / We / Us — SG Studios, operating under Social Gravity Ltd (Company No. 678586), Dublin 15.

Client / You — The individual, company, or entity purchasing a session or membership.

Session — A booked block of studio time — Dry Hire, Audio Podcast, Video Solo, or Video Multicam.

Membership — A recurring monthly subscription giving the Client access to a fixed number of studio sessions per month.

PAYG — Pay-as-you-go — individual sessions booked without a membership commitment.

Live Cut File — A synced raw recording file (MP4 for video; WAV for audio) delivered to the Client after a video session.


2. Bookings & Payment

2.1 How to Book
All sessions must be booked online at sgstudios.ie/booking. Phone and email enquiries are for information purposes only and do not constitute a confirmed booking. Availability is shown in real time on the booking page.

2.2 Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT at 23% unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through the online booking system. Clients receive a booking confirmation and invoice by email.

2.3 Minimum Booking
The minimum booking duration is 1 hour for all session types.

2.4 Custom Pricing
For custom or negotiated pricing, the Studio will provide a coupon code to be applied at checkout. Verbal pricing agreements are not binding — all agreed rates must be confirmed in writing by the Studio before booking.


3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Rescheduling — 48 Hours Notice Required
Clients may reschedule a PAYG session by giving a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session start time. The booking credit will be transferred to the new date. No cash refunds are issued for rescheduled sessions.

3.2 Cancellations — No Refund Policy
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the full session fee being forfeited. We are unable to fill studio slots at short notice, and the full preparation cost has already been incurred by the Studio at this point.

3.3 No-Shows
If a Client fails to attend their booked session without prior notice, the full session fee is forfeited with no right of refund or credit. SG Studios sets up and staffs the studio in full for every confirmed booking. If you anticipate being unable to attend, please contact us at the earliest opportunity.

3.4 Late Arrivals
Session time begins at the booked start time. Late arrivals do not extend the booked session duration. SG Studios cannot guarantee additional time if a subsequent booking is scheduled in the same space.

3.5 Studio Cancellation
In the unlikely event that SG Studios must cancel a confirmed booking, the Client will receive a full refund or equivalent credit at their preference. SG Studios’ liability is limited to the value of the affected session only.


4. Membership Plans

4.1 Minimum Commitment
All membership plans require a minimum 3-month commitment from the date of first payment. The Studio will not accept early termination requests within the initial 3-month period. The Client is liable for all payments due within this period.

4.2 Cancellation After Initial Term
After the 3-month minimum term, the Client may cancel by giving 30 days’ written notice to info@sgstudios.ie before the next renewal date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Notice received after the renewal date applies to the following month.

4.3 Monthly Payment
Membership payments are collected automatically on a monthly basis via the payment method provided at sign-up. All membership fees are exclusive of VAT at 23%.

4.4 Session Usage & Expiry
All sessions must be used by the last day of the membership month in which they are allocated. Unused sessions carry over to the following month, with a maximum of 2 banked sessions at any time. Sessions beyond this rollover limit are forfeited and cannot be refunded or credited.

4.5 Failed Payments
Should a membership payment fail, the Studio reserves the right to suspend or cancel the membership immediately. Booked sessions may be cancelled until payment is resolved. If you are experiencing payment difficulties, please contact the Studio Manager at info@sgstudios.ie as soon as possible.

4.6 Session Booking
All membership sessions are booked through the standard online booking system at sgstudios.ie/booking. Membership does not guarantee priority booking or reserved time slots. All availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.7 Plan Changes
Clients wishing to upgrade or downgrade their membership tier should contact the Studio at info@sgstudios.ie. Changes take effect from the next billing cycle.

4.8 Membership Links
Membership sign-up links are issued directly by the Studio team. Memberships cannot be self-activated through the website.


5. Studio Use & Client Responsibilities

5.1 Care of Premises & Equipment
Clients are responsible for the care of the studio space, sets, and all equipment during their session. Any damage caused to studio property, equipment, furniture, or sets by the Client or their guests will be charged at full replacement or repair cost. No damage deposit is held — costs must be settled either during the session or via an online payment link issued by the Studio.

5.2 Room Capacity
The maximum number of recording participants per studio set is as follows:

The Cloud (White Cyclorama) — up to 3 participants
Conference Room — up to 4 participants
Black Podcast Studio — up to 2 participants
Forest Room — up to 2 participants
The Lounge — up to 2 participants
Audio Studio — up to 2 participants

Exceeding stated participant capacity is not permitted without prior written approval from the Studio.

5.3 Guests & Observers
Clients may bring up to 2 observers who are not actively participating in the recording. Observers must remain in the main reception area during live sessions and are not permitted inside the studio set while recording is in progress.

5.4 Prohibited Content
The following content types are not permitted at SG Studios:

Adult or sexually explicit content — not permitted under any circumstances.
Competitor advertising — content promoting a direct competitor of SG Studios or Social Gravity Ltd.
Political content — any political or party-political content must be discussed and approved by the Studio Manager before the session.
Unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful content of any kind.

SG Studios reserves the right to terminate a session immediately and without refund if prohibited content is being recorded, at the sole discretion of the Studio Manager.

5.5 Food, Beverages & Refreshments
Light snacks, drinks, and complimentary coffee are available in the studio. Hot beverages may only be consumed when the studio is not live. Clients may bring drinks in sealed containers (bottles or cans). Food near equipment, cameras, lighting, or furniture is not permitted. Any spillage or damage will be treated as client damage under Clause 5.1.

5.6 Dry Hire — Self-Operated Sessions
For Dry Hire sessions, the Client is solely responsible for the setup, operation, and safety of their own equipment. SG Studios provides studio space and 2 basic lights only. No technician is provided. The Studio accepts no responsibility for the technical quality of output from Dry Hire sessions.


6. File Delivery

6.1 Live Cut File
A Live Cut File is included with all Video Solo and Video Multicam sessions. Video files are delivered as MP4. Audio files are delivered as WAV. Same-day delivery is available if the Client provides their own SSD storage device. Otherwise the file will be uploaded to cloud storage for the Client to download within 2 working days.

6.2 Edited Deliverables
All editing deliverables (full edits, short reels, branded content) are delivered within 7 business days unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the session.

6.3 File Storage & Retention
Delivered files are stored on cloud storage for 30 days from the date of delivery and are then deleted automatically. SG Studios is not responsible for files not downloaded within this window. Clients are strongly advised to download and back up files promptly upon delivery.

6.4 Intellectual Property
All content recorded in the studio remains the intellectual property of the Client. SG Studios does not claim ownership of any Client content.

6.5 Studio Promotional Use
SG Studios regularly posts content on social media showcasing work created in the studio. By booking a session, you agree that SG Studios may publish short behind-the-scenes clips or brief excerpts from your session for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, you must inform the Studio Manager in writing before your session begins. No full recordings will be published without explicit written consent.


7. Safety & Limitation of Liability

SG Studios is a working production environment containing professional cameras, lighting rigs, tripods, cables, and wiring on floors. Clients and guests must take care when moving around the studio at all times.

By entering the studio, Clients and their guests do so at their own risk. SG Studios and Social Gravity Ltd shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained while on the premises, howsoever caused. SG Studios takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe and comfortable environment.

7.1 Limitation of Liability — Sessions
In the event of technical failure or equipment issues, SG Studios’ liability is limited to the value of the affected session. The Studio is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

7.2 Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times. SG Studios accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items on the premises.


8. Privacy & Data

Client information collected during the booking process is held by Social Gravity Ltd and used solely for managing bookings, communications, and membership accounts. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from the use of SG Studios services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.


10. Changes to These Terms

SG Studios reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version is always published at sgstudios.ie/terms-conditions. Continued use of the studio following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Clients are responsible for reviewing the terms prior to each booking.
